Biography
In 1937 he graduated from the Moscow Milling and Elevator College. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1938. During the Great Patriotic War - political officer of the company, commissar of the battalion, then an agitator of the political departments of the 24th and 4th Guards armies. He finished the war with the rank of Major Guard. The first director ( 1956 - 1963 ) of the Central Stadium named after V.I. Lenin . From May 26, 1961 - May 24, 1963 - Chairman of the Presidium of the USSR Hockey Federation . He was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery.
