Biography
Born May 10, 1925. In 1948 she graduated from Leningrad State University . From 1949 to 1982 she worked at the Zoological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (RAS) . In 1956 she defended her thesis "Deep-sea radiolarians of the Phaeodaria detachment of the northwestern Pacific." For the first time described the vertical distribution of deep-sea radiolarians and feudaria in the Kuril-Kamchatka trench. Made a significant contribution to the study of the morphology and systematics of feudaria. Together with A.A. Strelkov generalized data on colonial radiolarians. Conducted a monographic description of the acantaris of the oceans, considering them in the rank of an independent type. Described more than 20 species new for science, established a new family of feudarians Polypyramidae Reschetnjak, 1966. Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific papers, including two monographs. April 1, 1982 was dismissed in connection with the reduction of personnel, not defending the prepared doctoral dissertation on acantaris of the oceans.
