Biography
Born on August 25, 1919 in Rostov-on-Don [2] . In service in the Red Army since 1937, before conscription, he lived in the Voronezh region [3] . Member of the Great Patriotic War : platoon commander, squadron, chief of staff of the division, assistant chief of the operational department of the cavalry division, commander of a separate division [2] .
Since 1948, he served in the operational units of the air defense forces: chief of staff of a separate air defense corps, head of the operational department of the Moscow Air Defense District . In 1960 he was promoted to major general [2] . He graduated from the Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR [4] . In 1962-1971 - Commander of the 24th Guards missile Gomel division in the Strategic Missile Forces , based in the Kaliningrad region [5] .
Head of the Rostov Higher Military Command School in 1971-1975 [5] [6] .
He died on January 5, 2001 in Rostov-on-Don. He was buried in the Northern cemetery [2] .
Rewards
He was awarded the Orders of Lenin (1968), World War I (1985) and II (1945) degrees [3] , the Red Star (1944, 1954) and various medals.
