Story
1997 year . The military, loyal to the Soviet system, seized power in Kazakhstan with the intention of reanimating the USSR , led by a military government. US Special Forces is conducting an operation to seize the Kazakh dictator, General Ivan Radek.
In Moscow ( Russia ) celebrate the arrest of Radek. The ceremony is attended by US President James Marshall, who makes a tough speech about the new policy of non-reconciliation with terror, after which he flies out from Moscow, " Board number one ." During the landing, a group of Kazakh terrorists infiltrate it under the guise of Moscow journalists in order to demand the release of Radek from prison.
When a plane is hijacked, the president is evacuated in a rescue capsule, but, found by rescuers, it is empty. It turns out that the president remained on the plane. He gets out of the rescue compartment and begins the elimination of terrorists, then he finds a satellite phone and contacts the White House. Under the guidance of a technical expert, he merges part of jet fuel, hoping that his lack will force the terrorists to land the plane, but the terrorists require refueling in the air . After another shootout with the guards, the president goes to the hostages. Having assessed the situation, he decides to evacuate them from the plane by parachute from the cargo compartment, after having previously ordered the KC-10 Extender to lower to a safe height for parachuting through the White House. During refueling, terrorists notice escaping hostages and undermine the door to the cargo compartment. As a result of shaking, the refueling hose comes off, fuel ignites and the refueling aircraft explodes.
“Board number one”, meanwhile, enters the airspace of Kazakhstan and an escort of F-15 US Air Force fighter aircraft leaves the plane at the request of terrorist leader Korshunov. Korshunov, beating the president and threatening his wife and daughter with death, achieves his goal - Marshall calls to Moscow and demands to release Radek. Radek is released, his supporters triumph, and terrorists rejoice on the plane - their task has been completed. But the president manages to free himself from the “handcuffs” from the scotch tape and in the battle with him all the terrorists die, and then Korshunov himself while trying to jump with a parachute. The plane is left without pilots (they were shot while trying to land at the German Ramstein air base ).
President Marshall immediately gives the order to kill Radek, and he, like a former military pilot, sits at the helm. Radeka shoots prison guards. The White House and the Kremlin are jubilant: the presidential plane has been freed, but Radek’s accomplices are not going to give up - the MiG-29 fighters of the Kazakh Air Force from the air base controlled by Radek are sent to “Board One” they are in turn hunted by the US Air Force F-15. During the air battle, “Board One” is severely damaged and partially loses control, jet fuel is running out.
To the aid of the aircraft losing altitude there is the nearby landing aircraft Lockheed MC-130 of the US Air Force "Freedom". People remaining on the president’s plane are evacuated in an unusual way - by stretching the cable between the planes and transporting everyone along it to the MC-130. The family and the wounded head of the administration are successfully evacuated, time remains only for the evacuation of the president, but he is adamant - everyone should be saved. Suddenly, the president’s security chief, Gibbs, who turns out to be a traitor, kills the paratrooper and the major, and tells the president that the next US president will become the head of the guard . In a brawl, Marshall manages to defeat him and evacuate, and the presidential plane with Gibbs aboard falls into the Caspian Sea and crashes.
