Born on 10/13/1930 in Stepanakert.
He graduated from the Institute of Petrochemistry in Baku (1953).
In 1959-1961, the head. Laboratory of the Institute of Geophysics. In 1961-1964 Director of the Volga-Ural branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Geophysics . In 1964-1967 - Deputy. Head of the Research Institute of Geology of the USSR.
In 1968-1992 - deputy. Director of the Institute of Nuclear Geophysics and Geochemistry .
Author of scientific works in the field of nuclear geophysics and oil and gas fields.
Doctor of Technical Sciences (1979), Professor (1981)
Winner of the State Prize of the USSR (1982 - for the creation and implementation of highly informative pulse methods of broadband acoustic and neutron logging to increase the efficiency of prospecting, exploration and development of oil and gas fields) and the A. Gubkina (1978). Awarded a gold medal VDNH (1981).
