Bianca Walter ( German: Bianca Walter ; born March 31, 1990 , Dresden , German Democratic Republic ) is a German short-track player , winner of the European Championships 2009 , 2010 and 2013 . Participant in the 2018 Winter Olympics [1] .

Sports career
Bianca Walter was born in Dresden , German Democratic Republic . Her mother, Skadie Walter - A participant in the 1984 Winter Olympics . Grandmother was a skater coach. Bianca began training in 1999 at the club "EV Dresden". Trains under the guidance of a Dutch trainer - Wilma Boomstra ( Dutch Wilma Boomstra ) [2] . Bianca is the commissioner of the German Federal Police [3] .
Walter won her first medal at an international competition during the 2009 European Short Track Championships in Turin , Italy . Her team in the women's relay at 3000 m with a score of 4: 24.411 took the second place in the race, ahead of rivals from the Netherlands (4: 28.943 - 3rd place), but lost the lead to athletes from Hungary (4: 22.769 - 1st place) [ 4] [5] .
The last medal in her asset at the moment was received during the 2013 European Short Track Championships in Sweden - Malmö . German short track players in the women's 3000m relay with a score of 4: 18.692 took second place, losing to the athletes from the Netherlands (4: 18.569 - 1st place), but ahead of the rivals from Poland (4: 19.794 - 3rd place) [6] .
At the 2018 Winter Olympics, Walter was declared to participate in the 500.1000 and 1500 m race. On February 13, 2018, she completed her performance in the 500 meter race without qualifying (18th place) [7] . In the seventh race, Sofia Prosvirnova (the team of Olympic athletes from Russia), Yara van Kerkhof (Netherlands) and Biyanka Walter competed. With the result of 43.541 she finished third and thus the Russian and Dutch women went further [8] [9] .
