After a difficult childhood and the death of his parents, he studied Albanian language and literature in Pristina until 1966. [3] He is the author of over a dozen volumes of inspiring and courageous poems. Since 1961, he has been recognized both in Kosovo and Albania by one of the leading and innovative poets. Indeed, he was, in the opinion of many, the most typical representative of the modern Albanian poetic circle in Kosovo and a Kosovo poet of wide international renown.

His first collection of elegiac poems, Thirrje (Calls, Pristina, 1961), was published during his high school years in яakovica. In subsequent volumes, new elements of the repertoire were introduced, a tendency to symbolism and allegory, revealing him as a mature symbolist in his plate in a wide variety of rhymes and meters. In the early eighties, he published the Lum Lumi collection workshops (Lum Lumi, Pristina, 1982), which became a turning point not only in his own work, but also in modern poetry of Kosovo as a whole. This immortal tribute to the poet of his young son Lamasa, who died of cancer, presented an existentialist obsession with the dilemma of being, with elements of loneliness, fear, death and fate. Ali Subrime, however, is a laconic poet. His poems are compact in structure, and his images are direct, concise and devoid of any artificial verbiage. Every word has a meaning. He attracts readers with his convincing abilities to adorn elliptical rocky terrain, reminiscent of Albanian verse, with unusual metaphors, unexpected syntactic structures and subtle rhymes. On July 21, 2012, the French police informed the authorities of the Republic of Kosovo that the Sub-Virginia was found dead. Ali has long lost contact with family members. His premature loss is a loss to Albanian art and literature. [4] [5]
