Biography
Born August 17, 1904 in Berdichev in a family of engineers. After graduating from high school he entered the verbal department of the Faculty of History of the AzSU , being a graduate he worked in various libraries and bibliographic organizations. In 1927 he moved to Leningrad and devoted the rest of his life to this city. Since 1929 he became known as a teacher - he taught library science in various technical schools. From 1931 to 1951, he worked at GPB (first as a bibliographer, then as head of the national fund recruitment department, and finally attained the position of deputy director for scientific work. From 1948 until his death, he worked at the Leningrad Institute of Culture at the department of general bibliography.
He died on May 27, 1975 in Leningrad.
