Kosovo-Montenegrin relations - bilateral diplomatic relations between the partially recognized state of the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro . The length of the state border between the countries is 76 km [1] .

History
February 17, 2008 there was a unilateral declaration of independence of the Republic of Kosovo from Serbia . October 9, 2008 Montenegro recognized the independence of the Republic of Kosovo [2] . On January 15, 2010, the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro established official diplomatic relations [3] . In May 2012, the Government of Montenegro decided to open an embassy in Pristina [4] , which began its work on July 30, 2013 [5] .
On November 7, 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Srjan Darmanovich made a statement that despite the presence of a border dispute between Montenegro and the Republic of Kosovo, these two states manage to maintain good relations [6] . On February 3, 2018, the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dusko Markovic, stated that relations between the two countries were at an excellent level, and added that Montenegro supported the desire of the Republic of Kosovo to join NATO and the European Union [7] .
Trading Relationship
In 2008, trade between countries amounted to 40.95 million euros [8] .
