Sports career
He trained under the guidance of the Honored Coach of the USSR Alexander Mikhailovich Schroders . From 1990 to 1998, he played for the Russian team. In 1995, 1996 and 1997 he became the champion of Russia. He participated in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano [2] . Graduated from VGIFK [3] .
Since 2006 - on coaching in the national team of Russia [2] . In May 2017, he became a senior coach of the Russian bobsled team [4] . As the head of the joint coaching staff of the Russian bobsled and skeleton team, he participated in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang [5] .
Family
Married, has a son and two daughters [3] . Elder brother - Alexander Vitalyevich Shcheglovsky (1963-2015) - bobsled trainer, honored trainer of Russia [6] .
