The name was given in 1991 in the village of Kazanskoye , located 2 km south of the platform (before that the platform was called 61 km in distance to the Kursk station ). Southeast of the platform is the village of Sonino . One and a half kilometers west of the platform is the village of Criulino .
It consists of two platforms connected only by flooring through the paths. Not equipped with turnstiles . There is no operating cash desk on the platform.
Driving time from the Kursk station is about 1 hour 10 minutes.
