History

Prior to the Relatives Menschsein, Lissy Mödle and Amadeus already worked in the Predecease group, but the group gained only local fame.

In June 1990, at Melodrom, they met keyboardist Jörg Wolfgram, formed the band Relatives Menschsein, and recorded the song the next day. Already the first singles of the new group became hits on the Dark Stage due to the unique mixture of music and poetry. The songs “Tempel”, “Glaube” and especially “Verflucht” helped them sign a contract with the production company Danse Macabre. Under the same label, in August 1991, their first four-song album, Moritat, was released. With the first major concert on January 4, 1992 at the Cat-Cafe in Ulm, a tour began that made the band famous in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

In July 1992, EP Gefallene Engel was released, and in August, Jörg Hüttner joined the group as an additional keyboard player. On July 2, 1993, the album Die Ewigkeit was released, with which the tar guitarist temporarily joined the group. After the album was released, Jörg Wolfgram left the band and joined the Dorsetshire band. At this time, a new guitarist Andy Age appeared in the group. As a result, the group released only a few songs on different CD compilations and played live. The last concert was in 1999, Amadeus left the group and, thus, unofficially dissolved the group.

The group said that even today didn’t formally break up:

We never officially broke up, but 1999 was the last concert when Wolf, according to agreement, gave his stage costume. And that was it. [one]
Original text (German)
Wir haben uns nie offiziell aufgelöst, aber 1999 war der letzte Auftritt, bei dem Wolfi, wie ausgemacht, seine Bühnenkleidung verschenkte. Und damit wars vorbei.

In 2002, Alice In released the album Thanatos, which collected songs from the albums Gefallene Engel and Die Ewigkeit, as well as recordings from live performances of some tracks.

Since 2001, the albums of the new project by Jörg Hütner (also Dreadful Shadows , EverEve , Dorsetshire and Kalte Farben) Skorbut in the EBM style began to be released.
