Biography

Born in 1892 in Velikolutskom District, Pskov Province . He studied at the Narva Gymnasium and Yurievsky University .

In military service since August 11, 1914. The participant of the First World War , the hunter - a volunteer of the 1st category of the Life Guards Egersky regiment . Since 1915, senior non-commissioned officer of the Caspian 148th Infantry Regiment .

On November 19, 1915, the Order of the 8th Army Corps No. 325 for bravery was awarded the St. George IV degree cross for No. 400378 "for the April and May battles of 1915", III degree for No. 4826, II degree for No. 26939 and I degree for No. 12548 [1] [2] :
