Kashevarov, Andrey Borisovich

Born February 3, 1961 in Moscow.

He graduated from the Moscow Order of the Red Banner of Labor Institute of National Economy named after G.V. Plekhanov (now G.V. Plekhanov Russian University of Economics ) and graduate school of the Institute of Soviet Trade . He defended his thesis in 1987.

In 1982-1984 he worked as an economist, and. about. junior research associate, research associate in the department of socio-economic problems of the All-Union Research Institute of Trade Economics and Management Systems of the USSR Ministry of Trade ; in 1987-1988 - senior research fellow at the same research institute.

In 1988-1990 he worked as an instructor of the department, head of the sector of the working youth department of the Central Committee of the Komsomol.

In 1990-1996, he was the chief specialist, deputy department head, department head, head of the department for controlling organized commodity and financial markets of the RSFSR State Committee for Antimonopoly Policy and Support for New Economic Structures (GKAP of Russia).

In 1996-2001 - head of the department for monitoring the activities of credit organizations on financial markets, head of the department for licensing the activities of credit organizations and audit firms of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation .

January 18, 2001 was appointed Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Antitrust Policy and Entrepreneurship Support (MAP Russia). April 14, 2004 was appointed Deputy Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.

On May 14, 2010, at the sixth meeting of the Advertising Coordination Council under the Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy, Andrei Kashevarov was elected its chairman.

Since April 2013, he has been the Head of the Department of the Federal Antimonopoly Service ^{[2] of the} Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation ^[1] .
