The premiere of the TV project took place on TNT channel on February 10, 2018. Participants of the show are fighting for a contract with a music label and the main prize of 5 million rubles. Timati ( Black Star ) and Maxim Fadeev (MALFA) acted as producers in the first season. In the second season, Maksim Fadeev, as a mentor, changed the rapper of Basta and the Gazgolder Creative Association. [1] On April 16, 2018, the weekly program “Songs. Reality ”with star house diaries (first at 18:00 with a night repetition at 1:00 and at 1:30 on the night from Friday to Saturday, then at night according to the same schedule with the morning repetition at 11:30).
The winner of the first season and the owner of 5 million rubles was Terry (Oleg Ternovoy from Tashkent , Uzbekistan ). Kristina Kosheleva, Habib and Eugene Mayer [2] have signed a contract with the label MALFA, and Terry, DanyMuse and Nazim - with the label Black Star.
The winner of the second season and the owner of 6 million rubles became Slame (Vyacheslav Isakov from Kazan , Republic of Tatarstan ). Tritia signed with Gazgolder, and Boronin signed with Black Star.
The premiere of the second season took place on February 16, 2019.

Format and rules
General Provisions
As of 2018, the following rules apply:
- The show consists of five stages: “Casting”, “Selections”, “Reality”, “Concerts”, “Final”.
- The winner is the participant who collected the most votes in the “Final” of the project. The producers of the show will personally decide who will sign a contract with their music labels [3] .
Judging system
- Contestants are evaluated by 3 members of the jury, of which 2 are permanently participating and 1 is a replaceable member of the jury
- All members of the jury have professional experience and carry out their activities in the field of television and music industry.
- “Castings” and “Concerts” are evaluated by the jury members together with the viewers.
- "Selection" is evaluated only by members of the jury.
- In the “Final” only TV viewers vote for the participants.
- TV viewers can vote for the contestants and participants of the show for free, using the mobile application TNT-CLUB.
- In order for a contestant to pass from the “Casting” stage to the “Selections” - it is necessary to come up with a vocal number, please at least one of the three jury members, and hear from him the words about passing to the next stage.
- If all members of the jury vote against passing the contestant to the next stage, then viewers in the TNT-CLUB mobile app will vote for free within a week after the broadcast.
- The leaders of each of the weeks of the audience voting after the last release of the “Casting” stage will be merged into the final vote in the TNT-CLUB mobile app. His winner will pass the stage of "selection" and automatically become a party to the show.
- At the “Selections” stage, each producer will select 10 participants for his team [4] .
- After the “Selections” stage, the daily “Reality” starts, in which viewers will watch how the participants prepare for each of the “Concerts”.
- After each of the “Concerts” in the TNT-CLUB mobile app, free voting for all participants of the show starts. The participants with the most votes will automatically continue to participate in the show, and the participants with the lowest number of votes will be nominated for departure from the show.
- In the final of each of the “Concerts”, the jury members will decide which of the nominees for the departure will remain in the project, and who will leave the show.
- After the last release of the “Concerts” stage in the TNT-CLUB mobile application, the final audience voting starts, which will determine the winner of the project.
- In the "Final" will be announced the name of the winner of the project, and the producers, if they wish, will name the new artists of their labels selected from the participants of the show.
Listening
- Accepting applications for auditions in the cities lasted on the site of the TNT channel [5] only 5 days (from 24 [6] to July 28, 2017).
- Auditions were held from August 17 to September 4, 2017 in five cities: Moscow , St. Petersburg , Krasnodar , Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk [7] .
- One of the selectors at the auditions was the semi-finalist of the show “The Voice ” Anton Belyaev [8] [9] .

In the voting among the participants who did not pass the casting in the show, REDGI won, but the producers refused her further participation.
Ratings
On the air TNT show comes out with high ratings. According to the research company Mediascope, the first release of the project brought the channel to the leading slot, having collected 17.4% of viewers aged 18-30 at the screen. The second edition of the music show became the absolute leader of Saturday prime time - almost every fifth TV viewer, aged 18-30, watched as producers Maxim Fadeev and Timati searched for new faces, new music and new songs. The share of the second release of the project “Songs” was 18%. It is followed by Channel One , whose share in this slot was 9.4% (the historical film First Time ), and the third place on the NTV channel was 7.1% (the vocal show You Are Super! ).
