Geography
The village is located on the banks of the river Shumar , 15 km southeast of Vyaznikov .
History
At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was part of the Zhdanov volost of the Vyaznikovsky district , and since 1926 it was part of the Nikologorsk volost . In 1859 [2] there were 29 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 31 yards, in 1926 [4] - 65 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Kuzminsky Village Council of the Vyaznikovsky District , since 1940 - as part of the Peskovsky Village Council , since 1954 - as part of the Fedurnikovsky Village Council , since 1965 - as part of the Ilevnikovsky Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Paustovsky Village .
