Orlanyuk-Malitskaya, Larisa Alekseevna

Born in 1949 in Kostroma.

In 1966 she graduated from high school in the city of Krasnoslobodsk, Mordovia ASSR with a gold medal. In 1970, she graduated from the Finance and Economics Department of the Moscow Financial Institute (IFI, now the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation ) with a degree in Finance and Credit, received a diploma with honors, and was assigned to the Krasnodar Regional Department of Gosstrakh as a senior auditor. In 1972 she was transferred to Perm Financial College as a teacher of insurance disciplines.

From 1976 to 1979 she studied at the graduate school of the IFI in the department of "Finance", which she graduated with the defense of her thesis on the topic " Economic accounting in the state insurance bodies." After that, she worked as a senior consultant at the planning and economic department of the USSR Gosstrakh General Directorate. In 1980 she returned to the IFI at the department of "Finance".

In 1992 she entered the full-time doctoral program at the Financial Academy, and in 1995 she graduated with a doctoral dissertation on the topic “Problems of financial stability of insurance organizations” ^[2] . Since 1995, Larisa Alekseevna has been working at the Financial University at the Department of “Insurance” ^[3] as a professor (since 1994), headed the department (at present, deputy head of the department), teaches insurance disciplines ^{[4] [5]} .

Larisa Alekseevna is a recognized scientist in the field of insurance, the head of the Scientific School "Insurance" at the Financial University. Member of the Presidium of the All-Russian Scientific Insurance Society. He is the developer of the structure of basic programs of domestic higher education in the field of insurance, the author of a number of concepts and projects for the development of the Russian insurance market, articles, monographs, reference and training publications in the field of insurance. Included in the interdepartmental working group on legal regulation of insurance activities.
