Prince George Sergeevich Vasilchikov ( 1890 - July 7 ( 20 ), 1915 ) [1] - second lieutenant (posthumously lieutenant) of the 4th rifle Imperial family name of the Life Guards Regiment. The son of Prince Sergei Illarionovich Vasilchikov .

Biography
He graduated from a military school, entered the Life Guard in the 4th Infantry Regiment of His Majesty. With the outbreak of World War I he went to the front, for military distinctions he was promoted to second lieutenant.
July 7, 1915 participated in the battle for the village Sennitsa-Royal. Commanding a company, he received an order to drive the Germans out of the trenches north of the village. At the head of the company, Second Lieutenant Vasilchikov went on the attack and, despite the rifle, machine gun and artillery fire, burst into the trenches first. His company killed all the opponents in a bayonet attack, but the commander himself died from a German bullet [2] .
On February 5, 1916, Georgy Sergeyevich Vasilchikov was awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree posthumously by the Highest Order of Sovereign Nikolai Alexandrovich with production on assignment [3] .
