Merluška - a skin of a lamb of a coarse breed of sheep . The age of the lamb at the time of slaughter is not more than 30 days [1] .
Distinguish between Russian and steppe merlushka [1] . Russian is obtained from sheep of coarse northern breeds, it has a primary hair coat with ring-shaped and storporobny curls. Steppe is obtained from fat tail sheep.
The merlushka can be white, black, brown [1] .
Used for the manufacture of hats, haberdashery, outerwear [1] .
