Chentsi is a village in the Kovrovsky district of the Vladimir region of Russia , part of the Klyazminsky rural settlement .

Geography

The village is located 2 km south of the center of the village of Klyazminsky Gorodok and 17 km northeast of the district center of the city of Kovrov .

History

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Sannikov volost of the Kovrov district , since 1926 - as part of the Osipov volost . In 1859 ^[2] there were 21 yards in the village, in 1905 ^[3] - 7 yards, in 1926 ^[4] - 22 yards.

Since 1929, the village was part of the Klyazmo-Gorodetsky village council of the Kovrovsky district , since 1940 - as part of the Klyazma village council , since 2005 - as part of the Klyazma village settlement .
