Antrevolt (biology)

In biology, antrevolts are called the peculiarities of the device of the body , which are not valuable for fitness in themselves, but are the inevitable result of the device of other parts.

For example, a person’s chin is not some kind of special device that improves survival , but simply the inevitable result of skull changes. Also, exacerbation of the sense of smell in pregnant women is only a by-product of a complete renewal of the olfactory system, which is done to reliably recognize the smell of your baby ^[1] .
