Ivan Alekseevich Usov (born October 7, 1977 , Krasnoyarsk ) is a Russian freestyle swimmer and coach . Member of the 2004 Olympic Games. World Champion 2003. Two-time silver medalist of the European Championship (2004, 2006). Repeated winner of the championships of Russia. Honored Master of Sports of Russia .

Biography
Ivan Alekseevich Usov was born on October 7, 1977 in Krasnoyarsk. In 1986 he began swimming in the Spartak pool under the direction of Nikolay Kogut. In 1990 he moved to "Energy" to coaches Yuri and Irina Rodin [1] . In 1994, after graduating from high school, he moved to train at the Omsk school of higher sportsmanship to Valery Petrovich Bachin [2] .
In 1999, Ivan graduated from Siberian State University of Physical Education and Sports with a degree in swimming coach-training, after which he served in the army for two years.
In 2001, he returned to Krasnoyarsk, where he began working as a teacher of physical education at the Krasnoyarsk State Technical University , conducting classes in the Polytechnic pool.
Soon he returned to the big sport and played for the Russian team for several years [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] .
Since 2008 he has been working as a swimmer's trainer at the Siberian Federal University [8] . Senior coach of the swimming school of the Moscow Palace of Sports "Yantar" [9] . The highest results among his wards [10] achieved:

Family
On April 27, 2002, he married his former classmate Elena. On January 20, 2004, the daughter Lilia was born in the Usovykh family, and on December 28, 2006, the son Gregory.
