Chirikau ( Osset. Chyrykhuæu ) or Sakire ( Osset. Sachyre , cargo. საკირე - Sakir ) - a village in the Caucasus , located in the Dzausky region of South Ossetia , which actually controls the village; according to the jurisdiction of Georgia - in the Java municipality .

It is a member of the Klesleb village administration in South Ossetia .

Geography

The village is located south of the district center of the village of Dzau and the village of Hsleb , on the right bank of the Bolshaya Liakhvi River .

Population

In 1987, 150 people lived in the village of Sakire ^[5] . According to the 2015 census, the population is s. Chirikau was 89 inhabitants ^[4] .
