Content
History
The company was founded in 1997 in the free economic zone "Brest". At the initial stage, the company was engaged in the production of mattresses under its own brand, but on the basis of raw materials and components of Western suppliers, and Belarus and Russia became the main sales markets. In 2000, the company expanded its assortment and mastered the production of orthopedic pillows. In 2001, Vegas became a manufacturer of asymmetric mattresses (mattresses with sides of different stiffness), which became a unique development of the company, and the company received patent opinions on them [4] [5] [6] .
Gradually, the company expanded its sales markets, covering more than a dozen countries, including the Baltic States , Ukraine (2004), Moldova (2005), Czech Republic (2009), Hungary (2009), Kazakhstan, Slovakia [1] [4] . Vegas is a partner of JYSK [1] .
Rewards
In 2001, at the international exhibition Furniture 2001 in Minsk, Vegas LLC received an award for the quality of its products. In 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008, the company received the “Best Products of the Republic of Belarus” award, and in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, the “Choice of the Year” award in the “Everything for Home” category , construction and repair ” [4] [1] [7] [8] .
The enterprise was awarded the Government of Belarus several times for achievements in the field of quality - in 2006, 2009, 2013, 2014 [9] [10] [4] .
