Moisala [1] ( French: Moïssala ) is a city and suprefecture in Chad , located in the Mandul region. The administrative center of the department is Barh-Sara .

Geographical position
The city is located in the southern part of Chad, on the left bank of the River (Bahr-Sarah), at an altitude of 341 meters above sea level [2] . The village is located at a distance of approximately 505 kilometers southeast of the country's capital N'Djamena .
Population
According to the official census of 2009, the population of Moisala was 49,252 people (24,096 men and 25,156 women). The population of the prefecture by age range was as follows: 51.6% - residents under 15 years old, 45.2% - between 15 and 59 years old and 3.2% - aged 60 years and older [3] .
Transport
On the western outskirts of the city is the airport of the [2] .
