Prokudino is a village in the Atkar district of the Saratov region of Russia . It is part of the Danilov Municipality .

Content

History

In the “List of Populated Places of the Saratov Province according to 1859”, the settlement is mentioned as the proprietary village of Prokudino ( Bolshaya Palatovka ) of the Atkarsky district (1st camp) at the Sukhaya Palatovka river, located 21 versts from the county town of Atkarsk . In the village there were 103 households and 577 inhabitants (287 men and 290 women) ^[2] .

According to the “List of Populated Places of the Atkar County”, published in 1914 (according to 1911), there were 128 households in the village of Proskudina , which was part of the Beryozovskaya volost, 767 people (394 men and 373 women). Great Russians dominated the national composition of the population. The zemstvo school functioned ^[3] .

Geography

The village is located in the northern part of the region, within the Volga Upland , on the banks of the Sukhaya Palatovka River , at a distance of about 17 kilometers (in a straight line) north of the city of Atkarsk . The absolute height is 168 meters above sea level ^[4] .

According to the 2010 All-Russian Population Census, men accounted for 48.2% of the gender structure of the population and 51.8% of women, respectively.

According to the 2002 census , Russians accounted for 83% of 416 people in the national population structure. ^[6]

The village has a basic comprehensive school, a kindergarten ^[7] , a feldsher-midwife station ^[8] , a culture center and a post office of Russia .
