Biography
Ulyanov Victor Semenovich was born on July 18, 1964 in Leningrad .
In 1979 he graduated from music boarding school No. 38 in the class of trombone of the soloist of the orchestra, accompanist of the trombone group of the Opera and Ballet Theater named after S.M. Kirov I.M.Polyatskina.
In 1982, he graduated from the Special Ten-year School of Music at the Leningrad Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov in the class of trombone of the teacher, soloist of the Honored Collective of the Republic of the Leningrad Philharmonic Society , ZA of Russia B.P. Vinogradov
In 1989 he graduated with honors from the Leningrad Conservatory. N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov in the trombone class of professor, soloist of the Honored Collective of the Republic of the Leningrad Philharmonic , Z.A. of Russia V.F. Venglovsky .
From 1987 to 2017 - the soloist of the orchestra, accompanist of the group of brass instruments of the State Chamber Musical Theater "St. Petersburg Opera" .
Since 1988 - a teacher in the trombone class of the St. Petersburg Children's Music School named after A. P. Petrov [1] .
Since 1992 - a trombone teacher at the St. Petersburg Music College named after M.P. Mussorgsky .
Since 2017 - Head of the Department of Wind and Percussion Instruments of the St. Petersburg Musical College named after M.P. Mussorgsky . [2]

Married. He has a daughter. Wife - Gavrilova Elena Borisovna, pianist , accompanist of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov , diploma-winner of the All-Union, All-Russian and international competitions.

- Candidate of Art Criticism (1999). He defended his thesis at the St. Petersburg Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov on the theme “Trombone timbre in the orchestra of M. I. Teaching activities
During the teaching, he brought up many bright musicians, laureates of city, national and international competitions.
