Shagov, Alexander Anatolyevich

Alexander Anatolyevich Shagov ( July 10, 1962 , Malakhovka , Moscow Region ) - Soviet and Russian football coach. Honored Coach of the Russian Federation. He stood at the origins of the development of domestic women's football. He educated dozens of players of the women's national teams of the USSR, Ukraine, Russia in football. He was part of the coaching staff of the Russian youth, who won the European Football Championship in 2005 (girls under 19) . In the spring of 2015, UEFA was awarded a special award “For Contribution to the Development of Women's Football”.

Pupil of Sports School Spartak (Moscow). He played for the youth teams of red and white, along with Sergei Rodionov , Boris Pozdnyakov , Gennady Morozov . He ended his career in the teams of masters at the age of 21 due to an injury. Later he played in competitions of physical education teams.

He graduated from MOGIFK with a degree in “Coach-teacher in football”.

At the age of 25, he headed the women's football club SKIF Malakhovka , formed at MOGIFK and won the bronze medals of the USSR championship. Later he worked with Dynamo Kyiv , Russia, Moscow , Kaluzhanka , KAMAZ and Rossiyanka women's clubs.

From 1993 to 2017, with a break, he worked as head and senior coach with student, youth and junior women's national football teams, including combining work in the national team with work in clubs. In 2001-2003, as well as 2011-2013, he worked at the Spartak Academy in Moscow as a deputy director and coach. In 2013, he returned to the post of coach of the women's youth team [1] [2] , where he worked until 2017. Since 2018, she has been teaching at the K.I.Beskov Academy of Coaching Excellence (Moscow).
