The Center for Archeological Cultural Heritage (Jap. 埋 蔵 文化 セ ン タ ーMaidzobunka-sen ) is the municipal center for the archaeological cultural heritage of the city of Kobe , located in the Western District (Japan. Nishi-ku ). This public institution carries out archaeological excavations , as well as research, storage and exposure of the archaeological cultural heritage found in the territory of the city and region. The abbreviated name of the center in Japanese: Maybun-senta .

General Information
The permanent exposition of the center presents the restored skeleton of a fossil animal stegodon (Stegodon aurorae, Jap. Achebono-dzo ), which existed more than one and a half million years ago. Also in the center are ceramic figurines of Khaniwa , stone tools and other exhibits, on the example of which one can study changes in the way of life from antiquity to the present day. In addition, in the park at the archaeological center you can see replicas of the Haniva statuettes that were found in the kofun mound in the Sumiyoshi-Higashi area, as well as the underground stone mausoleum found in the first kofun mound in the Takatsuyayama area.

Archaeological materials of the Kofun-Kofun excavations in Nishi-motomezuka, Hyogo Prefecture (received the status of cultural heritage on June 9, 2005):
- 12 copper mirrors;
- 230 iron products;
- spindle detail made of jasper;
- 14 ceramic products of Hadziki (low-temperature oxidative roasting).
The archaeological materials of the Kurgan- Kofun excavations in Goszekuzuka, Hyogo Prefecture (received the status of cultural heritage on September 6, 2012)
- 42 cylindrical Chaniva with "fins";
- 3 ticket-like cylindrical Chania with "fins";
- 3 cylindrical figurines Haniva .
