Count Ludvik Vodzitsky, ( Polish. Ludwik Wodzicki ( August 19, 1834 , Krakow - August 11, 1894 , Ostend ) - Polish and Austro-Hungarian public figure, conservative politician , imperial secret adviser , member of the Reichsrat (parliament) of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy ( Cisleytania ) (1867–1877), ambassador (deputy) (1865–1894) and chairman of the Galician Territory Seimas (1877–1880).

Biography
The representative of the count family Vodzitsky . The son of Count Alexander Vodzitsky (1810-1853), a participant in the November 1830 uprising . Large Galician landowner . He belonged to Tychyn near Rzeszow .
He studied at the universities of Krakow, Paris and Vienna. From his student years he participated in the activities of Polish patriotic circles. Since 1860, he maintained contact with the conservative top of Polish emigration and the political headquarters and cultural center of the Polish émigré diaspora in France , led by Adam Jerzy Chartoryski ( Hotel Lambert ).
In 1863 he participated in the January Polish uprising . After the suppression of the rebellion, pursued by the Austrian authorities, emigrated to England. A year later he returned to his homeland.
was elected deputy. In 1867-1877, he was a member of the Reichsrat in Vienna. In December 1877, the emperor appointed him for life a member of the House of Lords of Parliament .
