Ngangara ( French Ngangara ) or Gangara is a village and suprefecture in Chad , located in the Mandul region. It is part of the East Mandul department.

Geographical position
The village is located in southern Chad, on the banks of the seasonally drying Kurukutu River, at an altitude of 517 meters above sea level [1] . The village is located at a distance of approximately 405 kilometers southeast of the country's capital N'Djamena .
Population
According to the 2009 official census, the population of Ngangara was 14,612 people (7,000 men and 7,612 women). The population of the prefecture by age range was as follows: 54.9% - residents under 15 years old, 41.9% - between 15 and 59 years old and 3.2% - aged 60 years and older [2] .
