Biography
She was born in 1920 in the village of Mamyrly of the Javanshir district of the Azerbaijan SSR (now Terter district).
Since 1937, a collective farmer, a link collective farm named after Lenin of the Mir-Bashirsky district. In 1948, a cotton crop of 88.8 centners per hectare on an area of 6 hectares.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 1, 1949 , for obtaining high cotton crops in 1948, Babaev Gandil Abbas kyzy was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ."
She died in 1989 in her native village.
