Eddie Schneider is a charismatic and successful creative director at a New York-based advertising agency. He is about to marry Judy Birk, the daughter of the agency owner. The next morning, after a succesful deal, he discovers that her colleague and girlfriend Angelina were raped last night by brother Judy Anthony. Eddie takes her to the hospital and is going to deal with Anthony, but he shows Eddie photos that prove that Schneider cheated on Judy with many women. At the rape lawsuit, Eddie helps Anthony escape the charge, and Angelina retaliates that he cheated on Judy with her. About ten years ago, Angelina was already raped by four men. She tries to commit suicide, but like the last time, she sees a black general. At that time, she imagined that he shot rapists from a machine gun, but now he urges Angelina not to give up.

Judy, making sure that Eddie is lying about his betrayals, breaks off his relationship with him. The owner of the agency dismisses him, offering to pay him a benefit in the amount of two hundred thousand dollars.

Eddie beats Anthony at a nightclub. There, Anthony later meets Angelina, but, not recognizing her, leaves with her. Angelina handcuffs Anthony in a car, rapes with a strap-on and kills. Subsequently, the police find Eddie’s fingerprints on Anthony’s corpse, and he is under investigation. Eddie knows that Anthony killed Angelina, but does not want to testify against her, knowing that she will die in prison. Having quarreled with his parents, Judy in court states that Anthony was a cruel man and once raped her, and Eddie was innocent of murder. At the end of the film, Eddie and Judy reunite.
