Adisu Massala ( Hebrew אדיסו מאסלה , Amh . አዲሱ መሰለ ; January 16, 1961 , Gondar , Ethiopia ) is an Israeli politician of Ethiopian descent [1] .

Biography
Adisu Masala was born on January 16, 1961 in Ethiopia in the province of Gondar. In 1980, he immigrated to Israel . He studied sociology and mechanical engineering at Bar-Ilan University , receiving a bachelor 's degree there . After graduation, he continued to work as a social worker. He also led the United Ethiopian Jewish Organization. In the 1996 parliamentary elections, Adisu Massala was elected to the Knesset , according to the Avoda party list. However, after the election, he broke away from Avoda and took part in the formation of the One Nation party under the leadership of Amir Peretz . In the parliamentary elections of 1999 he went under the fourth number [2] . However, the party received only two mandates. In the 2003 parliamentary elections, he was numbered four, but did not enter the Knesset, as the party received only three seats in parliament [3] .
