Biography

Orthodox. From the nobles of the Terek region, the Cossack of the village of Ardon . The son of a colonel.

He graduated from the Tiflis Cadet Corps (1897) and the Nikolaev Engineering School (1900), from where he was released as second lieutenant to the 14th combat engineer battalion. He was promoted to lieutenant on October 1, 1902, and to captains on October 1, 1906.

In 1907 he graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff in the 1st category and on May 7 of the same year was promoted to captain " for his excellent achievements in science ." In 1907-1909 he served the censored company command in the Life Guards Preobrazhensky Regiment . On November 26, 1909 he was transferred to the General Staff with the appointment of the Head of the 4th Siberian Rifle Division as a senior adjutant. December 3, 1912 he was appointed chief officer for assignments at the headquarters of the 3rd Caucasian Army Corps .

With the outbreak of World War I , on October 21, 1914, he was appointed correcting the position of headquarters officer for assignments at the headquarters of the 3rd Caucasian Army Corps, and on December 6 of the same year he was promoted to lieutenant colonel . Granted by St. George's Arms

 For the fact that on October 3, 1914, in a battle near the village of Sloviki, he reconnoitered the enemy’s position under the actual gunfire of the enemy. The attack carried out on October 5 and 6 based on this intelligence was successful and the Germans were forced to retreat.

Produced by the colonels on December 6, 1915 . He was wounded and shell-shocked in the battles on Stokhod in 1916. In February 1917 he was appointed commander of the 150th Taman Infantry Regiment , and on March 18 - the commander of the 149th Black Sea Infantry Regiment . In September 1917, he filed a report on the disease and left with his family in the Terek region .

In 1918 he participated in the Terek uprising , in June – November 1918 he was the chief of staff of the Terek Cossack army. Since the end of 1918, he held headquarters positions in the 3rd Army Corps of the Volunteer Army. On August 11, 1919, he was appointed head of the 2nd Terek Separate Plastun Brigade. Later that year he was promoted to major general . In 1920 - the chief of the military headquarters of the Terek Cossack army.

In exile in Yugoslavia, he lived in Gorny Milanovets . He was a member of the Society of Officers of the General Staff. During the Second World War he served in the Russian Corps . After the war he moved to France. He died in an old house in Gagny near Paris. Buried in a local cemetery.
