Tanner's daughter. She graduated from Leningrad University (1926).
From March 1 to June 20, 1926, he was a researcher at the Natural Division of the Public Library in Leningrad.
She worked at the Physico-Chemical Institute. L. Ya. Karpov (1927-1947) with A. I. Rabinovich, then in the laboratory of A. N. Frumkin.
In the years 1946-1958 - head. laboratory at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, Academy of Sciences of the USSR. In 1958-1992 - the head. Laboratory of the Institute of Electrochemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1941), Professor (1942). The author of about 260 scientific publications. Received 25 copyright certificates.

Honored Worker of Science and Technology of the RSFSR (1965). She was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor and three medals.
She died on October 1, 1992 in Moscow. She was buried at the Khovansky cemetery .
Her husband is a botanist, phytocenologist T. A. Rabotnov . Brother - Ilya Efimovich Burshtein , twice winner of the Stalin Prize (1943, 1950). Cousin - Moses Isaakovich Burshtein , Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor.
