Biography
Born on September 16, 1865 in the Vitebsk province in a family of hereditary nobles of the Chernihiv province . By religion was Orthodox . He graduated from the Pskov Cadet Corps [1] .
August 31, 1884 entered the service in the Russian Imperial Army . In 1887 he graduated from the Mikhailovsky Artillery School , from which he would be released into the 7th Horse Artillery Brigade. August 7, 1887 received the rank of second lieutenant , with seniority from August 7, 1885. August 6, 1889 received the seniority with the rank of lieutenant . In 1893 he graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff on the 1st category. On May 25, 1893, he was assigned to the General Staff with an appointment to the Finnish Military District .
