Graduate of Petrishule (1938). 1938 - 1941 student of the Military Electrotechnical Academy, in 1946 - 1947. student of the Military Academy of Communications. S. M. Budyonny. Member of the Great Patriotic War - Head of Communications Division.

He graduated from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering (PET) LETI (1951).

He worked at the All-Russian Research Institute of Television (1950–1955), at the NPO Elektron (All-Russian Research Institute of Electrophysical Research) (1956–1975), and from 1962 he was the head. laboratory of dissectors.

He developed photomultipliers for traveling beam systems, electronic multipliers for transmitting television tubes, tubes of a new type — dissectors (1961), and astro-orientation equipment.

Candidate of Technical Sciences (1969).

Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1968). He was awarded the orders of the Red Banner, Red Star, World War I degree and medals.
