Geography
The mountain is located on the territory of the Arshinsky nature reserve, the upper reaches of the Bolshaya Arsh River , north-west from the village of Aleksandrovka and the Karandash mountain. The summit consists of steep outcroppings surrounded by a forest of coniferous trees. The mountain is composed of black and gray quartzites with a significant content of iron and rare igneous rock Izrandit .
