Biography
Born February 2, 1954, in the village. Gunib Gunibskogo area . By nationality Avar .
In 1971 he graduated from Charodinskaya high school. After graduation, he worked as a worker at the Dagavtodor Charodinsky Remote Control. In 1981 he graduated from the Moscow Automobile and Road Institute . Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor
In January 2018, Acting Mayor of Makhachkala was appointed [1] .
In November 2018, he was arrested on suspicion of embezzling 40 million rubles in the position of Acting Mayor of the city of Makhachkala [2] . At the preliminary court hearing, the judge released Abusupyan Hasanov under house arrest. He acknowledged that he had exceeded his authority in conducting an auction for road construction. Abusupyan Hasanov also proposed to compensate the damage caused to the budget [3] . In July 2019, Abusupian Hasanov acknowledged that he had exceeded his authority in holding an auction for road construction work, and offered to compensate for the damage caused to the budget in the amount of 34 million rubles. The process took place in a special order and ended in one day. The Soviet District Court of Makhachkala fined the defendant 200 thousand rubles [4] .
