Kari Arkivuo ( Finnish. Kari Arkivuo ; born June 23, 1983 , Lahti , Finland ) is a Finnish footballer , defender of the Hekken club and the Finnish national team .

Club career

Arkivuo is a pupil of the Lahti club from his hometown. In 2001, he made his debut in Weikkauslig . For five years, as part of the club, Kari spent more than 100 matches. In 2006, Arkivuo moved to the Norwegian Sannefjord , signing a contract for three years. In the same year he made his debut in Tippelig , but he was soon injured and recovered for a long time after it. In early 2009, Arkivuo joined the Dutch Go Ahead Eagles . On February 13, in his match against Fortuna from Sittard, he made his debut in Erstedivisi [2] . On March 29, in a duel against AGOVV, Kari scored his first goal for the Go Ahead Eagles [3] .

In the summer of 2010, Arkivuo moved to the Swedish Hekken . On August 16, in his match against Trelleborg , he made his debut in the Allsvenskan League [4] . On April 17, 2011, Kari scored his first goal for Hekken in a duel against Syurian [5] . In 2012, he helped the team win silver medals, and in 2016 won the Swedish Cup .

International Career

On November 12, 2005, in a friendly match against the Estonian national team, Arkivuo made his debut for the Finnish national team . In the same match, he scored his first goal for the national team.
