Leonid Leonidovich Fituni (born September 27, 1953 ) is a Russian economist- internationalist, deputy director of the African Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences , corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2016), doctor of economic sciences, professor.

Biography
In 1975 he graduated from MGIMO . [1] Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
In 2001, L. L. Fituni successfully defended his dissertation “Parallel and shadow capital outflows from developing countries in the context of financial globalization: the example of African countries” for the degree of Doctor of Economics in the specialty of World Economy. [2]
Research interests: international economic relations, global and strategic research, socio-economic problems of developing countries. [1] Among the first Russian scientists began systematic studies of the destructive effects of globalization on the global periphery.
He is the chairman of the dissertation council on economic sciences (“world economy”) at the Institute of African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, deputy chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and also a member of a number of editorial boards of magazines, including International Money Laundering Control (London) and Sicherheitspolitik (Zurich). Rewards
In 1995, for his contribution to the development of science, he was awarded the registered In Appreciation Mark of the University of Cambridge (Great Britain) and in 2011 the Order of Friendship (Russia).
