Ischnosoma yunnanum (lat.) - a species of staphylinids of the genus Ischnosoma from the subfamily Tachyporinae . The name comes from the name of Yunnan province in which the type series was found.

Description
Small short-winged bugs. Body length from 5.0 to 5.6 mm. The antennae are relatively very long: from 1.84 to 2.12 mm. Head width up to 0.68 mm. Pronotum width from 1.03 to 1.04 mm, length up to 0.88 mm. The main color is blackish (pronotum, elytra, lighter legs, tan). Ischnosoma yunnanum is included in the species group I. pictum species group, from which it differs by the hetotaxia of the 8th male sternite. The species was first described in 2016 by Czech entomologist Matúš Kocian (Department of Ecology, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Czech Agricultural University , Prague , Czech Republic ) and Michael Schülke ( Museum of Natural History , Leibniz Institute for Research on Evolution and Biodiversity at Humboldt University of Berlin , Berlin , Germany ) [1] [2] .
