China (Yunnan) [1] .
Description
Small short-winged bugs. Body length from 5.0 to 5.8 mm. Antennae about 2 mm. Head width from 0.65 to 0.73 mm. The main color is black-brown (legs are lighter, tan). Ischnosoma vicinum is similar to the species Ischnosoma farkaci from the species group I. pictum species group. The species was first described in 2016 by Czech entomologist Matúš Kocian (Department of Ecology, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Czech Agricultural University , Prague , Czech Republic ) and Michael Schülke ( Museum of Natural History , Leibniz Institute for Research on Evolution and Biodiversity at Humboldt University of Berlin , Berlin , Germany ) [1] [2] .
