Biography

Fedor Petrov was born on February 13, 1879. By religion he was Orthodox . Educated at home. In 1898 he graduated from the Tiflis Infantry Junker School [1] .

August 13, 1895 entered the service in the Russian Imperial Army . Initially, he served in the Kars Fortress Infantry Regiment. December 23, 1898 he received seniority with the rank of second lieutenant , September 1, 1902 he received seniority with the rank of lieutenant . In 1905 he graduated from the Nikolaev Academy of the General Staff in the 1st category. May 28, 1905 received seniority with the rank of headquarters captain . From April 10, 1906 to January 20, 1907 he served the qualifying command of the company in the 3rd Caucasian Rifle Battalion, and from March 13, 1907 to June 5, 1908 he was the commander of the 12th Rifle Regiment. April 22, 1907 received seniority with the rank of captain . From January 10, 1907 to October 13, 1912 he was a senior adjutant at the headquarters of the 1st Siberian Army Corps . From October 13 to December 5, 1912 he was correcting the position of headquarters officer at the headquarters of the 3rd Siberian Army Corps . On December 5, 1912, he was appointed correcting the position of headquarters officer for assignments at the headquarters of the Irkutsk military district . December 6, 1912 was promoted to lieutenant colonel , with seniority from December 6, 1911 and was approved in office [1] .

He took part in the First World War . From October 2, 1914 to January 19, 1915 he was the headquarters officer for assignments at the 5th Siberian Army Corps . December 6 of that year was promoted to colonel, with seniority. From January 19, 1915 to February 1, 1916 he was correcting the position of head of the 10th Infantry Division . From February 1 to February 26, 1916 he was commander of the 66th Butyr infantry regiment , and on February 26, 1916 he was appointed commander of the 19th Kostroma infantry regiment . As of January 3, 1917, he was in the same position. As of March 1917, he was chief of staff in the 173rd Infantry Division . On September 10, 1917, he was appointed head of the 6th Siberian Rifle Division , and since November he has been temporarily serving as the commander of this division. October 15, 1917 was promoted to major general . On December 1, 1917, soldiers of the 22nd Siberian Rifle Regiment at the front killed Fedor Andreevich Petrov [1] .
