History

The village of Voznesenskaya was founded in 1911. According to 1926, there were 109 households in the village and 597 people lived (300 men and 297 women). The national composition of the population was dominated by Russians. Administratively, Voznesenskaya was the center of the Ascension Village Council of the Rozhdestvensky District of the Kansky District of the Siberian Territory [2] .
