Biography

Born in 1916 in a peasant family. The Novikov family was dispossessed and deported to the north of the Sverdlovsk region in the Ivdelsky district . From the age of 14 he began his career, from 17 - teaching as a primary school teacher. At the age of 23, he became the director of a junior high school in the city of Verkhoturye , since 1941 he has headed secondary school No. 1 [1] .

Then the war, its long versts to the victorious 1945th. He fought for Staraya Russa and Demyansk , fought at the Orel-Kursk Bulge , liberated Kiev , and took part in the liquidation of enemy groups in the Korsun-Shevchenko and Yassko-Kishinev operations. Went through the countries of Eastern and Central Europe: Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Austria. Near the Austrian city of Graz met the end of the war. He was wounded twice, contused once. Novikov K.N. - holder of two orders of the Red Star , Order of the Patriotic War, II degree, awarded with medals " For Military Merit ", " For the Capture of Budapest ", " For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. After the war, he returned to Verkhoturye, where he headed the secondary school for more than twenty years. In 1968, the Novikov family moved to Kachkanar. The newly built school number 4 has recently opened; in 1968, KN Novikov became the school’s director. For success in managing the educational process, Novikov, KN, was awarded the title of Honored Teacher of the RSFSR . Led the school until retirement in 1977, then worked in the city council of veterans, leading it from 1987 to 1991 [2] .

In 1995, the school was named after K. N. Novikov [1] . December 26, 2016 on the wall of the school building in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of K. N. Novikov, a memorial plaque was installed [3] .

Novikov K. N. is the developer of a pedagogical ideology, the basis of which he put on humanity and democracy in the relations of subjects of the pedagogical process .
