The length of the Rumyantsev stream is 4.2 km (according to other sources 3 km [4] ), a section with a constant flow - 2.5-3 km, the catchment area - 4-5 km² [1] . The source of the river is located in the east of the village of Dudkino . The watercourse flows west through the village ponds, flows through the open area to Rumyantsevo , where it crosses the Kiev highway and flows into the Rumyantsev pond. Then it flows in the Solntsevo area along Rodnikovaya Street for about two kilometers, then flows into Setun [1] . The street got its name from the second name of the river, which was given by the locals - Rodnik [5] [6] .

After laying the water supply network in Rumyantsevo and the influx of city sewage from Solntsev, Rodnik became more watery [7] . Its nutrition is provided by spring and wastewater [8] .
