Hammam Vasil ( Arabic: حمام واصل ) is a small town in northwestern Syria located in the Tartus governorate. It is part of the Baniyas district. It is the center of the same name Nakhi.

Geographical position
The city is located in the northern part of the governorate, west of the Ansaria ridge, at an altitude of 624 meters above sea level [1] .
Hammam Vasil is located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of Tartus , the provincial capital, and 170 kilometers north-northwest (NNW) of Damascus , the country's capital.
Population
According to the 2004 official census, the population of the city was 1,801 people (878 men and 923 women) [2] . Alavites predominate in the confessional composition of the population [3] .
