Istinich ( Serb. Istiniћ, Istinić ; Alb. Isniq ) is a village in the community of Decani in the historical region of Metohija . Since 2008, it has been under the control of the partially recognized Republic of Kosovo .

According to the 1981 census, 3393 people lived in the village: 3392 Albanians and 1 Montenegrin [4] .
According to the 2011 census, 3871 people lived in the village: 1935 men and 1936 women; 3866 Albanians, 2 Bosnians and 3 persons of unknown nationality [5] .
